2021 offers stark choices that will shape lives for generations.
- Will we acknowledge racism or ignore it?
- Will we support peaceful protest or promote armed resistance?
- Will we seek alignment and connection or divisiveness?
Honesty compels a recognition that the highest ideals of democracy and structural inequality, including institutional racism, have always coexisted.
Covid-19 and violence against Black people have given voice to the endemic injustices in our society that cannot be denied. Transformative change offers the opportunity to go beyond deep polarization in order to embrace a narrative based on conviction, collaboration, and hope.
I understand systemic change and stand ready to work with leaders and organizations committed to equity and fairness.
